Summer programs for 2nd and 3rd graders offer young learners a fun and enriching environment to explore new interests while developing important social and academic skills. Through engaging activities like arts and crafts, outdoor play, science experiments, and creative storytelling, children are encouraged to use their imagination and curiosity. These programs focus on fostering collaboration, communication, and self-confidence, while also providing plenty of time for active play and discovery. Designed to balance learning with fun, they give younger students the chance to make new friends, explore their creativity, and enjoy a memorable summer experience.

    Space and Rocketry
    Blast off into a summer of interstellar adventure at our Space and Rocketry themed Summer Camp! Aspiring astronauts and space enthusiasts are invited to embark on an out-of-this-world journey. Campers will explore the wonders of the cosmos, build and launch multiple rockets, and learn about the planets, stars, and galaxies that fill our universe. Our instructors will inspire a love for space exploration as campers engage in hands-on experiments, exploring the cosmos, and thrilling rocket launches. Join us for a summer of cosmic discovery, friendship, and excitement as we reach for the stars and dream of exploring new frontiers!

    My First Lemonade Stand
    Learn how to make sweet and tangy lemonade– and make money by selling it! Experiment with recipes, design flyers, learn how to count money, make change and tally your profits. Then, in a showcase finale event, launch your lemonade stand and sell, sell, sell, and raise funds for a charity students select!

    Kitchen Chemistry
    Calling all budding chefs and young scientists! Join us for a deliciously educational experience at our Kitchen Chemistry-themed Summer Camp. Campers will don their aprons and safety goggles as they explore the chemistry behind cooking. From chemical reactions to the mysteries of fermentation, kids will mix, measure, and experiment their way to becoming kitchen chemists. Our talented instructors will guide them through hands-on experiments using edible ingredients to create exciting results. Get ready for a summer filled with tasty discoveries, culinary adventures, and a deeper understanding of the science that happens right in your kitchen. Join us for a summer of fun, fizz, and flavor!

    Secret Agents - Super Spy Academy
    Train as a top-secret agent by cracking codes, engineering spy gadgets, and solving mysteries. Your problem-solving and critical thinking skills will be put to the test in a final spy challenge where you’ll outsmart the ultimate villain.

    Budding Biology
    Discover the wonders of life this summer at our Biology-themed Summer Camp! Young naturalists and budding scientists are invited to explore biology from the smallest cell to the largest ecosystems on Earth. We will conduct hands-on experiments to uncover the secrets of life. From examining microorganisms to understanding animal behavior, our inspiring instructors will ignite a passion for the natural world. Join us for a summer of biodiversity, exploration, and ecological adventures as we journey through the web of life and learn about the incredible diversity of species that inhabit our planet!

    ARDE Kids
    Architecture
    Have you ever imagined building a tower up to the ceiling? Our workshops provide that unique opportunity. The program will include a giant balloon structure and a wooden frame pyramid up to the ceiling. In addition to building the largest structures in the enrichment world, students will engage in a selection of diverse design challenges. They will draw architectural sketches, build mazes and chain reactions, and create 3D architectural models. Young architects will become familiar with exciting terms and concepts such as classical Vitruvian principles, green design, architectural composition, spatial thinking, texture, perspective, and many others.

    Funky Physics
    Join us for an educational adventure at our Physics-themed Summer Camp! Get ready to explore the wonders of the universe, unravel the mysteries of motion, and discover the magic of magnets. Our camp is designed for curious young minds who love to ask 'why' and 'how.' Through fun hands-on experiments, games, and activities, kids will learn about the fascinating world of physics, from gravity and forces to electricity and light.
    Our experienced instructors will inspire a love for science as campers embark on a journey of discovery, all while making new friends and having a blast. Don't miss out on a summer of scientific exploration and fun!

    Chess Wizards
    Join us this summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and cool prizes. You'll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle - your brain! Our camps include fun team chess games (like Corner Chess), recess time (of course), snacks, tournaments, and puzzles. Each camper receives a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. We include all the materials necessary for your child to participate. Unleash your brain power and spend part of your vacation with Chess Wizards!

    Young Philanthropists
    Students internalize the benefits of doing well and doing good, reviewing a number of charities and discussing the merits of giving back. Students collaborate in small teams to select a charity or issue they feel passionate about and come up with practical ways they can support that cause (including raising awareness, volunteering and fundraising), then create their own mock foundation!

    ARDE Kids
    Ninja Parkour
    Developed in the outskirts of Paris in the late 1980s, parkour is an awesome athletic discipline that today is popular all over the world. It has been included in the 2022 World Games. Parkour helps participants refine natural human movements to the ninja level. Young ninjas will run, jump, climb, vault, swing, balance, and do other exciting stunts. Kids will use these movements to creatively navigate the space around them, giving them a sense of control over their environment. Parkour encourages three things: developing a strong body, fortifying the mind to tackle challenges, and most importantly, having fun. The kids who are generally not into sports also love this activity and keep coming back for more.
  • Week Six: July 28-August 1

    STEAM Quest
    Adventure Quest: Using popular media themes such as Minecraft, Pokémon, Among Us, Mario Kart and Star Wars each day will bring a new STEAM adventure! Daily coding challenge using Indi or Sphero Mini robots, a themed craft and science experiment. Please note we DO NOT play any video games.

    Little Inventors
    In this “inventive” program, students design and create solutions to problems, teaming up to identify the need for a new invention, and producing real structures and solutions. In one STEM challenge, students build bridges using a variety of materials and experiment with how much weight they can hold. Students will also learn about famous inventors, and discuss how inventions improve our lives.
  • Week Seven: August 4-8

    Wildlife Adventures
    Critter Crusaders 
    Calling all aspiring superheroes! Join us at Critter Crusaders Camp, where you'll discover your inner superpowers while learning to coexist gently with the incredible wildlife around us. As Critter Crusaders, you'll embark on daily adventures alongside amazing animal companions, uncovering the secrets of living harmoniously with nature. Don your capes, unleash your heroics, and let's make the world a better place for both human and super-animal citizens together.

    Cosmic Crusaders - Space Hero Adventures
    Transform into a Cosmic Crusader as you journey through the wonders of space science. Design space vehicles, create solar system models, and simulate an epic space rescue mission. Become a protector of the galaxy with hands-on space science adventures!
  • Week Eight: August 11-15

    Vineyard App Camp (VAC)
    Theater and Improv
    Do you love acting and want to learn how to improvise like a pro? Our Theater and Improv (Yes And) class is the perfect place to start! In this course, students will explore the fundamentals of improvisational theater and learn how to think on their feet. You'll develop your acting skills through fun exercises and games, as well as learn the art of "Yes And" – a technique that encourages collaboration and creativity. Whether you're a seasoned actor or a beginner, this class will help you develop your confidence and creativity on stage. We'll also get to do some stage design. No previous experience is necessary – just bring your willingness to play and have fun!

    Art Innovators
    This hands-on program is a great way to introduce future artists to art and innovation! Students draw self-portraits, mold sculptures, and create captivating collages—cultivating essential creativity and risk-taking skills.   As students explore the world of art, from da Vinci to Kahlo, they’ll show their creativity and grow their confidence by sharing their work with others! "Art Innovators" empowers the next generation to envision, create and inspire through the transformative power of art!
