How to Apply for Indexed Tuition

How to Apply

Indexed Tuition is a flexible tuition pricing plan based on each family's specific financial situation. Harford Day uses the Clarity Application to determine a family’s eligibility for Indexed Tuition.

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is mobile-friendly so you may complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application to check on its progress and any additional required information or documentation. Indexed Tuition awards will be published Friday, February 14, 2025 for applications completed by the following deadlines:

Priority Deadline for Returning Families: 1/6/25

Priority Deadline for Families New to Harford Day: 2/3/25*

*For families new to Harford Day School, the Admissions application and the Clarity Application are separate forms that should be completed concurrently.

Please contact the admissions office directly to discuss your Indexed Tuition application after the priority deadlines listed above. Applications will continue to be reviewed throughout the year as funds allow.

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@clarityapp.com or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.
