Summer programs for Kindergarten and 1st graders provide a fun and nurturing environment where young children can explore, play, and learn. Through age-appropriate activities like arts and crafts, storytelling, nature exploration, and simple science projects, these programs help foster creativity, social skills, and a love for learning. With a focus on hands-on, playful experiences, children build confidence, develop friendships, and enjoy the magic of discovery.     The Science Guys
    Science of Art
    Unleash your inner artist and scientist at our Science of Art-themed Summer Camp! Young creatives are invited to explore the fascinating intersection of art and science. Campers will engage in hands-on activities that uncover the secrets behind color theory, chemistry, and the physics of light and sound. From making playdough to understanding ultraviolet light, our experienced instructors will guide campers through a summer of creative expression and scientific discovery. Join us for a summer where imagination and curiosity meet, as we blend artistry and science to create masterpieces and explore the captivating world of artistic innovation!

    Superhero Phonics Fun with Ms. Jackie!
    Children will practice letters and sounds, as well as read 3 & 4 letter words using Giant FUNNY MIX® Superhero Phonics Cards! We will…play games, mix and match the FUNNY MIX® Superhero Phonics Cards to create over 1400 new Superheroes, we can even design our own FUNNY MIX® Superheroes! Reading powers will be activated!

    Chess Wizards
    Join us this summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and cool prizes. You'll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle - your brain! Our camps include fun team chess games (like Corner Chess), recess time (of course), snacks, tournaments, and puzzles. Each camper receives a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. We include all the materials necessary for your child to participate. Unleash your brain power and spend part of your vacation with Chess Wizards!

    Yoga with Mrs. Bauer
    At yoga camp with Mrs. Bauer, kindergarten and first graders will embark on a sun-soaked adventure filled with movement and mindfulness! Each day, they will dive into playful poses inspired by summer fun, like stretching into a “starfish” or balancing as a “seagull” at the beach. Mrs. Bauer will lead them through exciting games and calming stories about summer adventures, helping them learn to breathe deeply and relax like gentle waves. They will also create fun yoga crafts such as colorful nature journals to draw their favorite poses and summer scenes, encouraging creativity and self-expression. With laughter and friendship woven into every activity, the children will not only strengthen their bodies but also build confidence and connection, making each day a joyful journey through the warmth and magic of summer!

    Vineyard App Camp (VAC)
    Lego Brick Builders
    Do you love building and want to learn how to create your own Lego creations?! This course teaches students how to design and build their own Lego models. They'll cultivate both their creativity and an engineering mindset. As a student, you'll get hands-on experience with a variety of Lego sets and learn techniques for building sturdy and intricate designs. This class is the perfect way to develop your problem-solving skills and unleash your creativity. No previous experience is necessary – just bring your love of Legos and a willingness to experiment!

    STEAM Quest
    Story STEAM: Children will enjoy process art, sensory bins, science experiments, engineering and coding challenges centered around a story each day. This STEAM Quest class features the Indi robot and coding through colored tiles.

    ARDE Kids
    Ninja Parkour
    Developed in the outskirts of Paris in the late 1980s, parkour is an awesome athletic discipline that today is popular all over the world. It has been included in the 2022 World Games. Parkour helps participants refine natural human movements to the ninja level. Young ninjas will run, jump, climb, vault, swing, balance, and do other exciting stunts. Kids will use these movements to creatively navigate the space around them, giving them a sense of control over their environment. Parkour encourages three things: developing a strong body, fortifying the mind to tackle challenges, and most importantly, having fun. The kids who are generally not into sports also love this activity and keep coming back for more.

    Daring Designs & Inventors' Lego League
    Harness your creativity to design superhero gadgets, costumes, and high-tech fortresses using LEGOs and other materials. Explore engineering and design principles to create innovative defenses against villains, then present your inventions in a thrilling 'Inventor’s Showcase.

    Art Innovators
    This hands-on program is a great way to introduce future artists to art and innovation! Students draw self-portraits, mold sculptures, and create captivating collages—cultivating essential creativity and risk-taking skills.   As students explore the world of art, from da Vinci to Kahlo, they’ll show their creativity and grow their confidence by sharing their work with others! "Art Innovators" empowers the next generation to envision, create and inspire through the transformative power of art!

    ARDE Kids
    Architecture
    Have you ever imagined building a tower up to the ceiling? Our workshops provide that unique opportunity. The program will include a giant balloon structure and a wooden frame pyramid up to the ceiling. In addition to building the largest structures in the enrichment world, students will engage in a selection of diverse design challenges. They will draw architectural sketches, build mazes and chain reactions, and create 3D architectural models. Young architects will become familiar with exciting terms and concepts such as classical Vitruvian principles, green design, architectural composition, spatial thinking, texture, perspective, and many others.
  • Week Seven: August 4-8

    Earth, Wind, and Fire
    Embark on an eco-adventure like no other at our Environmental Science-themed Summer Camp! We will explore the wonders of the natural world and learn how to become stewards of our planet. Campers will dive into exciting outdoor activities, wildlife discovery, and hands-on experiments that highlight the importance of protecting the environment. We’ll study plants and animals from every land and aquatic ecosystem, and our knowledgeable instructors will inspire a love for nature and conservation. Get ready for a summer of outdoor exploration, eco-friendly adventures, and an appreciation for the Earth.

    Little Inventors
    In this “inventive” program, students design and create solutions to problems, teaming up to identify the need for a new invention, and producing real structures and solutions. In one STEM challenge, students build bridges using a variety of materials and experiment with how much weight they can hold. Students will also learn about famous inventors, and discuss how inventions improve our lives.

    Art with Ms. Williams
    Space exploration
    Art with Ms. Williams offers exciting themed camps for young explorers! Each camp promises fun, learning, and imaginative exploration! Blast off into creativity with Space Explorers Camp with Ms. Williams! Through space-themed arts and crafts, we'll spark imagination and inspire young minds while helping them develop social and emotional skills. Our interactive storytime will take campers on an exciting journey through the galaxy, introducing planets, stars, and more. These activities will fuel their curiosity about space, making learning a fun and out-of-this-world adventure!
